Sophomore second baseman
Jessica Stangarone (Brewster/Brewster) hit a bad-hop single past the second baseman to bring in two runs, breaking a scoreless tie in the bottom of the fourth and sparking a six-run inning for the Bombers. One out later senior outfielder
Stacey Bartels (Skyview/Vancouver, Wash.) singled in two more runs and junior catcher
Hannah Shalett (Shepaug Valley/Bridgewater, Conn.) closed out the scoring with a two-run home run.
Bartels finished with two of Ithaca's six hits. Sophomore
Nicole Cade (Beaverton/Portland, Ore.) allowed only four Cardinal hits, fanning four to improve to 20-2. The 20-win season is the sixth by a Bomber pitcher.
